The 2027 Summit will take place at DTU's main campus in Lyngby, 15 km north of Copenhagen — Denmark's leading technical university and a powerhouse for deep tech spin-offs.
Getting There
- By Air: Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup, CPH) connects to Lyngby Station via mainline train in ~25 min.
- By Train: Direct DSB S-tog (A, B, or Bx lines) from Copenhagen Central Station to Lyngby Station (~20 min). Regular regional and intercity trains also stop at Lyngby.
- By Bus: Several bus routes (150S, 184, 194) connect Lyngby Station directly to DTU campus (~5-10 min ride).
- By Taxi: From Copenhagen Airport ~DKK 600 (EUR 80); from downtown Copenhagen ~DKK 350 (EUR 47).
- By Bicycle: DTU campus is well-connected to Copenhagen's extensive cycle network. Parking available on campus.
Centralværkstedet, Aarhus
The 2028 Summit will be held at Centralværkstedet — a historic former railway workshop transformed into a dynamic cultural and event venue in the heart of Denmark's second city.
Getting There
- By Air: Aarhus Airport (AAR, ~40 km) with bus connections to Aarhus C (~45 min). Billund Airport (BLL, ~100 km) offers wider international connections.
- By Train: Direct intercity trains from Copenhagen Central Station to Aarhus C (~3 hours). Aarhus C station is a few hundred meters walk from Centralværkstedet.
- By Bus: Local buses and light rail (Letbanen) stop within walking distance. Check Midttrafik for routes.
- By Car: Follow E45 motorway to Aarhus. Centralværkstedet is well-signposted in the city centre.
