We’re proud to be Northern Europe’s largest – and only pan-Nordic/Baltic – non-profit tech startup and scaleup ecosystem, as well as a vibrant women-in-tech community. With offices in Denmark (Copenhagen and Århus), Sweden (Stockholm and Malmø); Norway and Finland, we’re a vital part of our region’s tech landscape.

Our Commitment
to Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. By the end of 2025, we’d helped over 700 diverse tech founders launch, grow, scale, fund and expand their tech companies internationally through our programmes. We’ll continue to do this through 2025, and beyond.
In 2024, we also launched our ‘Diversity Beyond Gender’ initiative. This extends our successful international female tech founder growth programme to other underrepresented groups including:
- the LGBTQ+ community
- founders of non-Nordic/Baltic ethnic heritage
- people with neurodiversity or functional impairments
- founders from the 50+ community
Gender Equality Plan
Tech Nordic Advocates has a Gender Equality Plan (PEP)
Our approach includes:
Governance and Resources
We allocate dedicated human resources and leadership oversight to implement and review our PEP, ensuring gender expertise is integrated into organisational decision-making
Data Collection and Monitoring
We collect and review gender-disaggregated data on staff and leadership roles. Progress is monitored annually using defined indicators to inform continuous improvement.
Training and Awareness
We provide regular training and awareness activities on gender equality and unconscious bias for staff, partners, and decision-makers.

- Work-life balance and inclusive organisational culture
- Gender balance in leadership and decision-making
- Fair and transparent recruitment and career progression
- Integration of gender perspectives in advocacy, research, and educational content
- Prevention of gender-based violence and sexual harassment, including clear reporting and response procedures
Tech Nordic Advocates reviews this plan annually to ensure alignment with best practices and evolving regulatory and funding requirements.
