15 May Wuxi CENTI HITS – High-level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Wuxi Exchange Conference
On 5th and 6th of May 2019, Wuxi CENTI HITS – High-level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Wuxi Exchange Conference was successfully held in Wuxi Taihu International Expo Centre. This conference is the largest, highest-level and most influential talent event in Wuxi. During this event, CENTI brought back 20 high-tech projects from Europe to showcase their concepts and achievements. The focus of the conference is to bring together elites from all sides and highlight the technology and experience, in order to provide strong talent support for Wuxi’s high-quality development.
The whole conference consisted of 1 theme summit, 1 exhibition, 16 sub-activity, and 8 sector activities. Among them, this year’s new “Talent Leads High-Quality Development” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievements Wuxi CENTI “Hi! Tech Season”(CENTI HITS) Global Launching Ceremony is the theme event of the largest, the longest time, the most audience, and the most comprehensive exhibits in this year’s conference.
It was held at the Taihu International Expo Center to showcase Wuxi’s innovative and entrepreneurial environment and to present the most cutting-edge technological innovations in the world. The whole conference is 7788 sqm in area and attract over ten thousand visits within 2 days.
The release of “Hi! Tech Season” also hopes to build a platform, bridge and community for the global talent exchange with Wuxi characteristics by leveraging the precision cultivation program of Wuxi International Talents and the excellent landing policies of overseas excellent technology projects. Therefore it could help China and Europe community members expand their business outward and generate communication networks, so as to connect resource, promote international exchanges and cooperation among countries.
On this event, Mr Xiaomin Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary, Mr Chen Wu, deputy of the National People’s Congress, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and chief architect of the Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. delivered speeches respectively.

Mr John Zai, Founder and CEO of CENTI Group was invited to High-level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Wuxi Exchange Conference 2019. Under the witness of all the leadership, The European Innovation Center Wuxi Sub-center was unveiled together with nine other innovation platforms. Also, it has been successfully landed Wuxi Xidong New City Business District and built an international platform for technological innovation in online and offline integration and exchange, which will inject new momentum into Wuxi’s high-quality development.
In this event, due to the special invitations from the organizing committee of the meeting and CENTI, Mr Mattias DEBROYER, Economic and Commercial Consul of the Belgian Consulate General in Shanghai and Chief Representative of the Foreign Investment and Trade Promotion Bureau of Brussels, Belgium, attended the main summit of the fair and witnessed the event. Under the Witness of Mr John Zai, Mr Mattias DEBROYER and other leadership, 29 industry-university research projects were successfully signed.
International innovation platform, which is successfully landed the in Xidong New City Business District –Sub-centre, especially set up the “Hi! Tech Season” Achievements Exhibition Zone at this conference, which has exhibited 20 outstanding overseas technology projects in the area of 300 sqm exhibition areas, involving smart manufacturing, internet of things, environmental protection, finance and other industrial directions, fully demonstrating the broad international vision and excellent operational capabilities of Wuxi Sub-center.
On-site, 10 top overseas technology projects have brought wonderful project roadshows, displaying the cutting-edge technology, diverse and enterprising European innovation environment of the European Technology Innovation Centre and CENTI European Ecosphere, linking the world’s strongest forces for China-EU cooperation.
